Welcome to the Cultural Fire and Animals website. This site is part of the ARC funded research project ‘Narrating the Roles of Animals in Cultural Burning.’ This project is aimed at developing stories of how First Nations people and animals co-construct landscapes via the medium of cultural fire. It’s being undertaken on the mid north coast of New South Wales on a little patch of Land Council managed land that is subject to Cultural Burning. This land is a significant site for the local Aboriginal community and it’s also vulnerable so we won’t be referencing the site’s exact location. Suffice to say that it does exist and it does have a story to tell. In this blog we’ll provide updates on the happenings on this patch and their implications in terms of the bigger picture of animals and Cultural Burning. We hope you enjoy the story.
I needed to thank you for this excellent read!! I certainly enjoyed every little bit of it. I have got you saved as a favorite to check out new things you postÖ
Thanks for that. Great to know that someone else finds this interesting too!
I know this web page gives quality dependent content and other stuff,
is there any other web site which offers these kinds of
data in quality?
None that I know of. Probably institutional websites are a good starting point
